It crossed every trade route, survived every century, and arrived in this cup without needing to change a thing about itself. We blend it with dried orange pieces — the kind that give the infusion a warmth and gentle brightness that the chamomile alone keeps to itself. Inspired by the Garad saree of Murshidabad, West Bengal — the Lal-Par saree of Bengal, woven from undyed natural mulberry silk in white and red. Garad means white.
